Our founders Jut, Floris and Tjarco believe that media talents have an enormous impact. Therefore they were convinced there should be a place for a different kind of replay operator. A replay operator who was not only technically skilled, but also someone who contributed ideas contentwise. Even though that was not very common in those days, it soon turned out there was a large demand for operators who were more than just robots and could think for themselves: Which images emphasise the central story the most? What are the best content-related shots to offer to the director? That being said, there also appeared to be much interest in agile detachment. The combination of all those things, were, and still are, the foundations of Argus Productions.
Argus Productions has grown into an international enterprise, residing in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, and contributing to the world’s biggest entertainment events. Argus Productions is also known for their own Academy that delivers new media talents on a regular basis, thanks to its extensive training program.
